Information:
This is a horse race where all who gather and try to win prizes! How does one bet on a horse? You must buy some medals, and bet on a horse of your choice. Near the end of the day, we will have a race to see which horse is the winner! You will get double the medals that you've bet. You may keep the medals for another festival if you like as well. There will be 2 races. You can decide to choose one horse in race 1, and choose another horse in race 2. Game Results will do both races right after each other so bet away!



Pick your horse here!
- Tony: A well balanced horse trained in both Speed and Agility.

- Strawberry: A horse trained for speed at birth but not that great at turning around corners.

- 007: A horse that isn't so fast but great at jumping and agility.

- Noodle: A very stable horse that never lags behind, but not that quick either, but if he is ridden by the right rider, he may prove to be quite surprising.

- Lambert: A very lazy horse. If he decides to try hard, he'll be the fastest horse in all of Sunshine Island.

- Spots: A very picky eater, and very picky on it's mood. If he is happy today, he will be quite the winner.

Venus walks over to the meadow and sees many people grooming their horses. If she remembers right, this is the horse festival that she has heard about. She has never attended any festivals like this before. It's a race. She walks up to the medal booth.

"I have 300G...I'll buy 10 medals please."

That costed her 100G. Now she thinks and has decided. Very few people have arrived this early.

"I'll bet 5 medals on Spot in race 1, and 5 medals on 007 in race 2."

Arden arrived at the horse festival with a smile on her face and money in her wallet. She was really excited; she had never been to a race before!

Taking 110G out of her wallet, she went up to the medals booth and put the money on the table. "11 medals, please," she said, and then looked at the gambling ballot.

"5 medals on Tony in race 1, and 5 medals on Noodles in race 2. That leaves me with 1 medal left over to either save or spend."

Wess and Christopher get off Takatura's boat. "Thank you!~" Christopher says in his childish voice, Wess waves to him as he speeds down the coast, back to Forget-Me-Not-Valley. Wess sees that two people were already here that weren't horse riders. He didn't recognize them, but it was good to make new friends. Wess and Christopher walk over to the nearest person, (Venus) and introduce themselves. "I'm Wess and this is Christopher," Wess says, smiling.

Aiyo smiled as she came into the meadow. A fresh track was made especially for the horses. Checking out the horses, she finally wandered off to the Medal Booth. It look her a while to choose but then she decided and took out 150g.

"Uhm, Can I buy 15 medals?" She handed the money and looked at the horses one more time until she picked who she wanted. " 5 on 007, and then 5 on Lambert"

"Hello, I'm Venus," Venus greeted. She was unsure what to say as she is not used to talking to strangers, but nonetheless, she smiles properly. Since this is the festival, she tries to make conversation.
"Are you going to bet on any horses today?" she asked. She was looking the prizes. Some of them looked quite cute. It's still too soon for the race to begin.

"No, I'm not going to bet," Wess laughs. "I don't bet well, never have," he says. "So who are you betting on?" Wess asks, continuing conversation. He looks at the sun, it was in the late morning, it would be a while before the festival began. Christopher sees some kids his age playing soccer, he pulls on Wess's leg, pointing at the other 5 kids. Wess nods and Christopher runs off. Christopher was chosen last, he was with 1 boy and 1 girl. The girl got in goal, the boy in front of her. Christopher started. He got the ball, he began dribbling it across the make-shift field. He got passed the girl in front of him, then he took a shot at the goal. The goalie caught it, and the game continued.

Genna looked around, she actually never rode a horse before but she didn't want to bet either. Should she bet or join? She just wanted to watch and cheer for somebody. She looked around and found some seats.

"I wonder who's going to win." Genna thought. She smiled, She didn't like betting, It was a waste of money.

Finally, Genna thought it will be to long to the races start. She ran down the stairs to see if there was something to snack on. Until, She sawthe medal where she saw some of her friends. "Hey guys!~" Genna said waving childishly.

Wess hears Genna and he turns around. He runs over to her. Christopher was about to shoot, he saw Genna, he aimed a shot and it barely got in. Christopher ran over to Genna as well. "Hey Genna, it's so good to see you!" Christopher says. "So, did you decide to bet?" Wess asks. "I didn't, I'm not good at it and it's a waste," Wess says laughing. "So, tomorrow can you maybe babysit Chris?" Wess asks. Christopher's eyes sparkle with delight.

(Oh Goodness awkward moment. My mom friend who has a three year old girl, she does the same thing. o.O I'm remembering things self-consciously now. o.O)

"Nah, I'm not going to bet. It's a waste of money and I'm pretty tight on money now." Genna said laughing. She patted Chris's head. "It's good to see you again!" Genna said happily.

She nodded that she was going to babysit Chris tomorrow. She had a planner in her bag and decided what to do tomorrow.

The next event was the firefly festival, Genna couldn't wait for that event.

Kathia walks where the horse race is.I heard about this race before,I'll bet on a horse! she thought to herself.She first thought about how many medals she would buy.I guess I'll buy 8 she decided.She went to buy te 8 medals and payed 80g."I'll bet 4 on 007 on the first race and 4 for Strawberry on the second race."she told the man.
I hope one at least wins I just guessed she thought.
She looked at all the horses and their owners.The horses are really cute!.
Kathia looked around and saw alot of people she first spotted Victoria.
"Hi Victoria!"Kathia said to her.She also saw Genna and Wess.
"Hi Genna and Wess!.She also said to them.
"How you guys doing today?"she approached them slowly.

Genna saw Kathia betting. "Hey Kathia the race is going to start in awhile!" Genna said excited.


"Well, Lets go to our seats." Genna said excitly. She picked up Chris and played airplane with him. "Weee!" Genna said running through the tunnel. She turned around. "Hurry up Wess and Kathia! We don't have all day!" Genna said childishly. She put chris down for a bit and waited for Wess and Kathiav to hurry up. Even thought the race starts in awhile but She waited for wess and Kathia to come.

"oh hello kathia great to see you here."victoria said
"you can come over here and sit down with genna ,wess and me if youd like."
stands up waveing hands to kathia to show her where we are.
"how have you been kathia lately."
sits back down while talking to everyone

"Weeeeee!" Chris says.
Wess over to Genna and Chris, taking off his backpack and sitting beside them.
"So when do you think it'll start?" Wess asks.
"Soon I hope," Chris says, stomach rumbling.
Wess unpacks Chris a grilled cheese sandwich, he really liked them, and so did Wess.
"You want one?" Wess asks, offering Genna, then Victoria one.
Wess then took out his and ate it.

Genna's eyes sparkled when wess offered her a grilled cheese. "I love thses things!" Genna said snaching the grilled cheese. In 10 seconds the grilled cheese was gone.

"Yum! Right ingredients too." Genna said. She loved this day, Hanging out with friends, eating, and watching horses run.

Genna then got up and looked around. "Hmm, no one else yet." Genna annouced.

"Ok coming!"she ran over to them and took her seat with Genna, Wess and Victoria.
"I've been fine and you?"she replied to Victoria.She noticed Genna acting childlishy like always.Kathia giggled a little at the sight of it.
"Ok let the race BEGIN though it's gonna take awhile."she relaxed in her seat to wait for the race begin.
"Heh, Genna you eat fast."she said.
