Today is the day people start hanging up their stockings. Thomas was handing them out to the unfortunate that do not have one. He knocks on every house, hoping they would open up to receive a stocking. Within the next many days, people start to hang them up. What gifts will be waiting for them on the final day? Winter is just full of warmth!

(People here may post about receiving their stocking and hanging their stockings up. All who posts will get an item on the last day in their house.)

Genna came in to the cold outdoor just to get her stocking. She still believed in santa. Isn't there a santa here? In her old town there was. She snapped out of it and continued walking on the trail hearing her own footsteps on the snow.

Last winter was when she moved here in this valley. Remembering her childish self thoguhs days made her chuckle a bit.

She got to the place where the stockings were. Some person handed her a stocking and she put it in her bag to hang it up later.

Genna decided to stay here for awhile in the cold weather. In the mean time she can probably throw snowballs at people who come.

It was snowing. A thing Momoko never seen before. She was ran around, playing in the snow like a little kid would. As she was wondering around, she saw a group of people gathering. Momoko approached the group with caution and saw a person giving away what looked like a sock. Momoko was curious, so she walked to the person and grabbed what the person called a stocking. Momoko was deep in thought when she figured out Christmas was near.
Although she didn't belive in Santa Claus, she hung up the stocking up for fun and for the Christmas spirit. She hoped she got a nice present this year from "Santa."

Soph smiled. The spirit of the season was truely upon everyone. It didn't matter whether you were old, young, ill...all that mattered was that everyone belonged-and after two seasons on the Valley, Soph realised that. Still smiling, she hung up a stocking-even though she knew Santa didn't exist...but who knew? Anything could happen.
The scene outside was magical. It was snowing. Soph noticed Genna outside, waiting to throw snow-balls at any unsuspecting person that happened to wander past her. Maybe Soph'd join her later.

Genna made a snow wall so people wouldn't see her. She threw two snowballs atsoph and a girl who seemed like she was pretty much new. "Gotcha!" Genna said getting up quickly and pointing at them. She giggled because throwing snowballs were so much fun and starting a snowball fight. It was fun for a person this childish even though she's almost 19. No one can change her childish ways. She was born like this.

Arden smiled as snowflakes dusted her hair. She reached up and brushed some of the powder off of the crown of her head as she walked. Before she reached the festivity area, she gave her head a final shake. She looked back up quickly and smiled when she saw her friends. "Hi, Genna," she called. She waved towards the crowd and walked in a general direction towards them.

Chase covered his head with his hands, blocking the snow. "Wet," he muttered. The melting snowflakes were making tiny spots on his light blue jacket, which he brushed at in vain. He finally gave up, right as he approached the festival area. With a defeated sigh, he shuffled through the thick carpet of white towards the small crowd gathering in the center. "What's the purpose of a 'stocking festival'?" he wondered aloud.

Genna's cover was blown by her friend arden. "Hello Arden!" Genna said waving happily. She got her next snowball ready to throw at the next person. "I'll get Arden next time with a snowball. Yes, I'll get her." Genna thought childishly.
Soon another person came, and she aimed her snowball at him and threw it. She soon noticed it was one of her friends Chase. "Long time no see, Chase. Where have you been?" Genna said looking innocent after throwing the snowball.

Kitty was too stuborn to admit she liked the idea of santa, even though she thought he didn't exsist at all. She wanted to stay up all night watching the stocking, so she got proof that he was just a myth. This was her first stocking festival she'd remember, so perhaps she should see if anyone wants to join her at her place. Since the snow was falling though, she decided to stay in and enjoy a hot cup of coffee. It was nice that Thomas gave her a stocking to hang up, otherwise she'd had up a hat in it's place. She went home right after getting her stocking.

Dylan decided to come down to the festival area in a large light blue winter paired with white gloves and ear muffs. The snow looked so light and pretty to her and it shure was chilly. Maybe she should have listened to Ann back at the inn and wore jeans instead of her usual skirt. She didn't really know anyone in the crowd accept Mr. Hawthorne, wait a second, he goes by Chase. One girl did look reconizable, but she really didn't get to knowing her name. Slowly she approached him to see he was covered in snow. "Hi," she said shyly, she didn't do to well in crowds. "Have you been waiting here for a while Chase?"

Miharu gladly recieved a stocking that she would hang on her fireplace. It wasn't much, but it was very nice of Thomas to be giving out stockings to ones that didn't have one.
"Thank you!" She thanked thomas
"Now be sure to hang that up, if you have been good, Santa will visit your house!" he replied smiling.
Miharu laughed as she thought of the idea of santa, she never believed in, nor did her parents try to tell her that there was a santa. She found it silly when her friend told her that a fat, old, guy could squeeze his way down a chimeny, and give presents that just happened to have a barcode. There is no way that it could be real, and flying reindeer just made it more illogical. But she could immagine little elves working hard to make the toys, tinkering with the wheels of a hand-made, wooden, toy car and wrapping it delicately. If she got a present that looked hand-made, she might believe in santa. The gifts wern't the best part of the holiday season, it is being with people you love. And her favorite thing to do on christmas eve is look at the snow outside and the moon in the sky shine brightly all through the night, until the sun rises and politely tells the moon that she needs to leave the sky.

Mist loved the way the snow got in her hair, she always loved the snow. "It's winter time, already? Time flies by so fast." She said to herself. She knelt to the ground covered with snow, and began to make a snow man. She used the button of her sweater for the eyes and used some sticks for the hand and nose. "There...Merry Christmas!" She said to the snow man that she made. After that, she got her stocking and went straight home.

So-Jun saw the snow, this is not his first time to see snow because it snows there in Korea. Good thing he was always wearing his hat, that way, his head didn't got wet because of the snow. "Cold" He said while picking up some snow in his hands. He walked and get his stocking, after that, he went straight home because he thinks he will catch cold, even though he came from a cold country, he never liked snows.

Genna quickly hided behind her snow wall and got five snowballs ready. "ATTACK!" Genna yelled out childishly and threw one snowball at each person and quickly retreated behind her snow wall. She giggled softly and decided to stay where she was for a few moments. They were probably looking right at the snow wall and probably what's behind the snow wall.

Soph scowled at Genna when a snowball flew through the air and hit her. "Genna!" Soph moaned childishly, sticking her tounge out at Genna, who appeared to be enjoying herself. Still scowling, she walked towards Genna who was no longer aiming wet stuff, but was talking to Chase.
"Quit throwing wet stuff!" Soph laughed at how stupid it sounded. "I'll get you back later, you know. I drew a picture," Soph annouced proudly. Then she smiled at Chase. "Hi Chase. Did she get you too?" Soph shivered a little bit at the thought of more snow-balls.

drinking hot coco, building snowmen, having snow ball fights, the list was endless
and soon she would look inside her stocking and find a gift , she had no idea what it was going to be but anything would be good for her
she smiled and then look at her stocking hanging proudly over the warm fire place
she looked at the glowing fire and wondered about her mother and father she had many questions inside her but knew no one could answer then unless it was her parents
she sighed then smiled at her stocking one last time
she couldn't wait for the stocking festival

All of a sudden, more people had arrived on the scene. Soph, Genna, and Dylan had all seemingly said something at the same time. "Hi," he said, laughing. He waved to Genna, who had immediately gotten distracted again. Soph had asked if he had gotten hit with one of Genna's snowballs, and he shook his head. "She missed," he said. "Hi, Dylan," he added. "I haven't really been waiting here long, but..." he picked up a handful of snow, and packed it tightly between his hands. Expertly, he shaved off imperfections, and tossed the snowball at Genna. "I have a feeling that's about to change."

Soph smiled as Chase picked up some snow. She stepped swiftly away from Genna and behind Chase's line of fire.
"Nothing personal Genna," Soph giggled. "It's just that I can see any trouble-" Soph's mouth twitched. "-better from here." Chase threw the snow-ball. "Nice!" Soph approved, grinning now. "Hey, Genna. Remember how I got you out of that tree? Not that I'm asking for a rematch or anything...oh great...bad idea..." Soph rolled her eyes and darted out of the way Genna was facing. "I guess I asked for that one, but not too many, ok? It's cold."

Raven scurried to the group of people, head ducked, trying to avoid the crowd and the onslaught of frozen snow that accompanied it. Blushing from embarrasment, she anxiously took the stocking and stuffed it into her pocket. I can't wait for the festival! She thought to herself, a smale creeping across her face. It's going to be fun! Being too bored to return to her house, she daintily sat at the edge of the crowd, watching the fight. Her kitten, Olive, skipped thrue the snow around her.

Genna triedto answer Soph's sticking tongue out language but Genna smiled instead since she couldn't think of anything. Soon she got hit by a snowball bye Chase. "Nice one!" Genna said. She made her a bit bigger and about 2 inches wide and 3 feet tall.

"Hey, Genna. Remember how I got you out of that tree? Not that I'm asking for a rematch or anything...oh great...bad idea..." "Oh yea!" Genna said quickly standing up. "Oh don't worry I'm not gonna throw any more snowballs at you today." She added.

Stockings... a over large sock that Santa puts a gift in, that's what Charls parents think. But she thinks differently she loves Christmas and loves Santa although she thinks he's not real, one thing she loves about Christmas is the sound of bells it makes her feel dreamy and love. "Well I better put my stocking up!" Charl hung her stocking on top of the frame of her fire to keep it warm, the stocking was purple with a fluffy collar around the top. "Well I guess I just have to wait..." She stared into the crackling flames of the fire side and thought about her time in the valley, about her friends, people she will hopefully know better and her family. The sky was carried by black and the snow gently fell from the sky... "I love Christmas."...
