Yes, it probably will. To check your word count, all I do is paste it into Word, and do a word count. That tool counts typos as a word, even if it's not what you meant to put in there.

You'll be fine as long as you edit your story before submission. ^^ Little typos won't make that much of a difference, so don't worry about it.

so if i had written he instead of her it wouldn't affect the score?

Don't worry about it. ^^ Missing one letter probably won't hurt you at all.

Yes, they do, as the program that I use to check word count includes one-letter words such as "I" "A" etc.

I use Word like i think you do ES

yes..but i don't know how can i use it on the contest?

copy and paste the stuff you're writing onto word and then once you have finished copy and paste it into a message and send it to ES. That's what I did apart from I did the story straight onto word

well,what i did is that i post the fanfic first in the fanfic section then copy paste it to the message to ES..

so get ES to count the words basically

i tried to count it but yet i get so confused..but i think it shoud reach 750...
beacause last time i count two of my chapters are 200..
