Ryan grinned as he set his meager belongings down on the shifting sand. A cool sea breeze whipped through his long locks of hair, keeping them up in the air for a good five seconds before the strands finally fell back against his tanned face. It was midday, and it was hot; instinctually he began to look longingly at the enticing shade of the trees that bordered the beach.

But he couldn't stop and rest; he had places to be, people to meet. So he picked up his bags and started to shuffle through the sand.

*amy is walking down the path and notices a boy* "who are you?"

Kyle paced, then jogged, then paced again continuing this pattern as he got closer to the beach. The only thing in his mind was, Ryan. His twin brother to be exact. Kyle stopped as he clenched his hands. He shook his head and walked onto the beach, his eyes furiously scanning the shore looking for his brother.

Ryan looked over at the girl who had appeared seemingly out of nowhere. "Uh, hi," he said, slightly startled. "I'm Ryan."

He could hear another pair of footsteps approaching. He turned around slowly to see his brother standing at the edge of the beach. "Hey, bro," he said, grinning and raising his hand in greeting. He motioned for Kyle to come over to where he was standing.

Arden almost backpedaled as she emerged from the little beach shack that belonged to Denny, where she had run to escape from the searingly hot sun. "Whoa," she gasped, looking at the guys on the beach. There was Kyle, and standing next to him was a male about the same age, who looked very different from Kyle, but also very similar.

She walked up to the threesome, waved hello to Amy, and then turned her attention to the guys. "Hi, Kyle," she said, smiling, before directing her gaze at the newcomer. "Hi," she said to the blonde. "I don't think I've seen you here before?"

Kyle couldn't believe it. It was really Ryan. Tears swelled up behind Kyle's eyes but wiped them away. Then, he noticed Arden.

"..." Kyle stared at both of them.

Genna walked down the path.
"Arden, Kyle, and amy! Hi!" Genna said.
genna noticed a new guy and walked towards the crowd.
"What's your name? I'm genna by the way." genna said happily.

Arden startled. Even though Kyle wiped his tears away quickly, barely before she could even see them, she still noticed the glistening in his eyes. It was the first time she had seen him display any emotion, if only for a moment. She stared at him briefly, and then looked down and pretended she hadn't noticed a thing.

She looked up again as Genna approached. "Hi!" she called, waving. She tried to forget the brief display she had just seen, but it pulled at her heartstrings, and was hard to just ignore.

Kyle though he felt Arden's gaze. It must of had been my imagination. Kyle quickly though to himself shaking his head. He looked down just in case his eyes were red.
"Hello..." He muttered as Genna approached.

Not really aware of it, Arden inched closer to Kyle. She shook her head as she realized that she was closing that gap, but moving back now would make her either look clingy or drunk, so she just stayed where she was. She threw a quick smile Kyle's way, and then looked back up at the new guy.

"Wait. Hold on. You guys....are twins?" she guessed, looking at the very similar builds, facial structure, hair thickness and texture, and eye color. But they still looked different...It must have been the smile on the newcomer's face, and the straight-lipped expression on Kyles.

genna got stunned that they were twins.
"Your joking, right?" Genna said confused.
her eyes twitched.
she thought to herself that the new guy had blonde hair and kyle had black.
Genna let out a tiny giggle.

Kyle winced at the sound of twin. He just nodded, his eyes resting on Ryan. Kyle bit his lip. His eyes left Ryan and settled on Arden, noticing she was closer than she was before. When Genna's giggle came out, Kyle threw a rather cold glare in her direction, but he caught himself doing that and quickly looked away.

Arden bit her lip, suddenly aware of the tension that was clouding the air. "Um..." she said helplessly. She pulled her hair back nervously, draping it over one shoulder. The thin strap of her tank top was now enveloped in thick blonde hair, but she didn't really care. She looked around the group, from the twins to Genna to Amy, and a little knot in the pit of her stomach formed. She breathed in deeply, and then took a step back. "You guys, uh, want a minute?" she asked the twins, a furrow in her brow forming.

"arden-chann~" kazu sang as she glomped her to the ground. she giggled. "whatcha doin?" she asked. then she looked up. "hi kyle!" she said closing her eyes and smiling. then she noticed the new guy. about a year older than her she thought. she got up and brushed herself off. "hello~" she said gleefully. "i'm kazumi!"

Genna saw the cold glare then she looked down putting her hands behind her back.
"So,your guys are really twins?" genna said again
Genna looked at Arden.
then she turned away and saw Kazumi.
"Kazumi!~" genna said happily.

After hearing Arden's voice, Kyle loosened up. He gazed at Arden warmly then looked away, peering into the sand. An akward silence... Suddently Kazu went and glompped Arden sending her to the ground.
"Hello.."
Twin. Kyle winced once more sending a glance at Genna.

"hi kyle." *walks over to him* "so he's your brother huh?" (she can read minds BTW)

kazu's eyes lit up. twins? she had never known twins before! "wow kyle-san! i neevr new you had a twin!" "it's very ncie to meet him~" kazumi giggled. she coughed.
