Red let the waves pull her along the beach, the setting sun reflecting an orange glow on the water. The ocean tides were cold in the afternoon, but she didn't care.
She had come to the beach earlier that day, quietly untangling the stressful strings that had caught up and bounded her mind. She had realised that so many important events in her life at Forget-Me-Not-Valley had happened here.


This beach... Was what made me come... And stay at Forget-Me-Not-Valley. She thought to herself, grabbing hold of a rock sticking out of the water and watching the sun set.
I almost died here once... Twice. I met so many people here... And... Him. Red blushed. Red hadn't seen him around lately. She wondered where he was.

'red-chan~" kazu said mega-glomping her friend. other than the patc-ups from the prevoius day's fight, she seems back to normal. "wtacha thinkin' bout?" she asked innocently. "him?"

"Woah! How did you glomp me in the water? You scare me, Kazu." Red laughed, a calm and sedate smile settled on her face.
"Yes. I am thinking about him. Happy? I admit it." She added, resting her head on the rock she held on to, her eyes fluttering, half closed, in a complete daydream.
The sun was wonderfully tranquil, setting on the watery horizon. It was so theraputic, especially combined with the soft current of the waves.

"that's so cute!" kazu giggled. "must be nice to be in love eh?" kazu looked up. her expessoin changed when she saw the ocean. she smiled gently. "would be great to come down here with someone somday huh?" "it's so pretty too." "what a dream~"

"Hm. Yeah. Great..." Red replied, not really listening. She had already lost herself in a daydream.
"Wait, why am I even telling you this? You'll tease me." Red added, a teasingly happy smile on her face. It was nice to just be able to seemingly pause the reality of Forget-Me-Not-Valley, and just enjoy a tranquil moment like this.

"I wonder where he is right now..." Red sighed, resting her head on the rock again. Forget-Me-Not-Valley was so unpredictable, and you could never find anybody. She felt like she was the only one not flying around, not constantly changing. Like the world was moving without her.

It was an uncomfortable feeling, making Red shift positions, holding onto the rock, shivering in awareness of the cold water again.

"ne red-chan." kazu said twirling and then plopping down in the sand." "what's it like...?" "being in love that is....?" "what does it feel like?" "the warm fuzzy feeling people are always telling you about?"
