My brother has been in the band at his school/band camps during the summer for the past four or five years, which means I've been dragged to at least 25 concerts since then. I dunno if you know this or not, but sitting in an auditorium, listening to instrumental music for 2 or 3 hours at a time is NOT fun.
Especially when it's a jazz concert, which, personally, is not my favorite music. AT ALL. And the "singers" (jazz singers) KILLED one of my favorite songs (the only jazz song I actually like, "Summertime"). It's dead and gone. I almost cried, it was so bad.
