Harvest Moon is directed towards younger kids. It's not violent, graphic, or inappropriate. It's a pretty innocent game. And, while older kids (and even adults) play it, the rating on the game is "E," which is kind of like going to see a G rated movie. ^^ It's more accesible to all ages.
