Like Aiyo said, you can find Adamantite on floors 25, 51 to 74, 225, and 250 to 254. If you have Adamantite, you can ask Gannon to build you a Maker (Cheese, Butter, Yogurt, Yarn, Seed, or Mayonaisse), provided you have the Maker Shed.

You have to befriend Chen, the guy who owns the General-Store thingy. When he reaches 2 hearts, he'll show up at your door. After you name it, Chen'll put it in the pet barn for you.

Talking to him raises his affection a little bit, but giving gifts is always a good idea, too. He likes almost every cooked dish, especially curry. Just don't give him grass.

You can't. You have to do it yourself. You can break the boulder by attaching a Yellow Wonderful to your hammer and using your hammer on the rock.

Wonderfuls are obtained by winning festivals, at the bottom of the mine, and randomly at Chen's shop during the first few days of Winter.
