Wess laid back against a tree, he was tired from today's work. He looked over to Goddess Pond, it was sparkling beautifully as always. Wess pulled down his hat, he hardly ever wore it, as it was black, but he was hot and it provided shade wonderfully in the sun, and Wess yawned. He laid his head against the tree, then he pulls down his cap over his eyes. He was tired, a short nap couldn't hurt him, could it?

Carly walked up to the pond, feeling relaxed. Her dog was back at the inn with her roomate. As she aproached, she saw a man asleep by a tree. She walked quietly to the pond and sat down, admiring the beauty. She sighed, tired from the long day. She bagan to daydream.

Wess woke up when he heard a maiden's sigh. He opened his eyes, he took off his hat. He looked towards the pond, for a minute he thought it was the Harvest Goddess, then he realized it wasn't as soon as his vision came. "Hey Carly!" Wess says from where he was sitting. Wess got up from where he was resting.
"So, what brings you here?" Wess asks.

Carly looked over at Wess. "Oh, Hi Wess." She said. "Actually, I come here a lot."
She stood up and walked over to him. "It's the most peaceful place in the valley. I only feel relaxed when I'm here."
She sighed. "It's nice to take a break from all of the boredom of the shop. Carly sat down and laid against the tree. "Only one customer..." She looked up at him. "So, how have you been?" Carly asked curiously.

"I've been good, but Chris is a hassle sometimes," Wess says sighing.
Wess looks at his watch.
"See? Now I have to go get Chris," Wess says a little annoyed.
Wess ran off, he forgot his hat, but he was already half way to Nina and Gallen's house to pick him up.

"Wait!" Carly called out. "You forgot your..." She watched Wess run off. "Hat..." Carly picked up his hat and decided to go the direction he went to give it back to him. When she found finnaly found Wess, she ran up to him. "You forgot your hat." She said, handing it to him. She looked down at Chris. "Is this your brother?" He's so cute!!! Carly thought.

"Yeah, he's my brother, Chris, this is Carly," Wess says.
Chris waves shyly.
"Well, I've got to get him to Romana's, see you later!" Wess waves.
Wess wouldn't keep Gallen and Nina babysitting him all the time, and Romana liked being with Christopher.

"Bye!" Carly said walking back home.
She had fun chatting with Wess.
Carly knows that she and Wess will be good friends.
When she gets home, she lays down on the couch, relaxed.
