NaNoWriMo= National Novel Writer's Month.

It's a nerd's dreeeeaaam. 8DD Basically, during November, you have a month to write a 50,000 word novel. It doesn't have to be perfect, or even legible! Just 50,000 words, with somewhat of an identifiable plot.

It's absolutely amazing; there's a forum there to talk to people and work through the problems that arise when you're writing (plot, character development, writer's block, etc). This is my first year doing it, but I watched from a distance last year ((didn't write anything myself, but took part in conversations and such)).

It's a BIG commitment, and if any of you want to join, you'll have to work it in between school and everything. 50,000 doesn't really seem like a lot, but you're writing, on average, roughly 1667 words EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Also, you have to be at least 13 years old. I think that one has to do with the whole COPPA thing, though.

It's really a lot of fun, and it's worth the insane amounts of time that you put in! I'm already starting to think about what I'm going to do, and I'm really excited for it!

Sounds easy enough for me. Maybe I should look into it. I still have a couple of tricks up my sleeves. I hope they wouldn't mind swearing though, cause no book is good with out a trash mouth in it to me. I don't know if I'll have time for it. I'm planning on joining the fall play, I'm taking a college class, and I'm looking for a job...

I tried that last year. Let's just say I was almot 20,000 words away and I realized that my story was awful.

I am very, very good at rambling, so I think I'll be okay. XDD

1,667 words doesn't sound like that much, but when you actually have to do at least that much every single day for an entire month, that's where it gets hard.

I already have an idea as to what I'm gonna do. I have a few characters, subplots, etc, in mind.

So am I one of the characters? *latches onto your leg, then mega glues self to it* You'll never get rid of me!

Guess what?! I'm doing it! And ES knows that cause she's my friend on nanowrimo! Unfortunetly, I am very busy and Animal Parade comes out ANNNND I didn't start until the 3rd cause I forgot...

Hey, did you know if you complete the 50,000 before December you can send in a copy to a website of your finished, edited story and they'll send you a copy that looks published! Thats what my friend told me, whether its true or not IDK

That's pretty cool. I may make a cover for my book if I have time.


At this moment, I have 12,193 words, and no discernible plot line. I thought I did, but it keeps changing, so I'm just kind of letting the characters tell the story for themselves.

that is easy for me, The most words I've written in one day is about 8800. I think I could fit it in. But what to write about?

Oh, it's not hard to write a lot in a day. But when you're writing a lot every single day for an entire month, it gets difficult, especially when you have to constantly add twists and weird things to get your word count up.
