Arden had been lying on Cream Beach, which was one of the most well-known beaches in the area. She had been looking forward to getting away for a while, and just having some time to herself. Of course, it wasn't as simple as that. Not long after she first arrived on the beach, black clouds had appeared overhead, and it had begun to thunder ominously. She had packed up her stuff just in time for the rain to start falling. Running through the town, she reached the Sundae Inn, and ducked inside.

She wasn't really wet, so she sat down on one of the couches in the lobby. Looking out of a nearby window and seeing the rain pelt down, she sighed.

The winter rain was icy and cold as it poured down on Kitty's back. Earlier it looked just fine to go out, but then a large mass of black clouds aproached from the beach and brought a shower of rain. Kitty only had two places that were close for protection. One: Sundae Inn, where people often gathered everyday for no particular reason. Or two: Gill's house, where he'd probably force her to hear why Waffle Town is the best place to live again. Hastily she chose the inn and ran into the building for protection from the rain.

Kitty shut the door a little too loudly causing it to slam shut, like she really cared though. Her teeth were chattering proof of how cold she really was. Winter had hardly started and she was sick of it. But atleast Collen was so fickle about everyone's health and gave her a blanket to wrap around in. It was so nice of her to do so, she even offered Kitty a seat on the couch. To Kitty's amusment Arden was sitting on the same couch, by the looks of it daydreaming while gazing into the pouring rain. Naturally she couldn't help but say, "Hello."
