Clarinets are wonderful instruments; I love the sound they make. X3
Flutes are cool, but I love most instruments for their rarity, the uncommon factor.

The Lyre... Is so rare, not many people know about it at all.
Clarinets and things like that deserve much more attention. :\

Harp-like instrument? I like the sound of that. I agree good clarinet players do make a good sound, which can be mistaken for a flute to untrained ears (I play it a little bit myself).

I write music more on the computer than I can play an instrument, in which my old school band used to try and play a piece I wrote with a friend, at least for a little while.

I'm not as pro-ish in playing them myself as some of you in that area.

As a joke, I pressure and make fun of my younger brother to try and play like this guy when he masters the violin.

I know! Clarinets DO need more attention... In my band class, it always starts with the flutes and ends with the clarinets! I want to play so much, but I'll just have to accept that the flutes are superior... Maybe I'll post a video of me playing clarinet here... I don't know if anyone wants to hear me play...
