| So, anyone seen Avatar yet? No, not Avatar the Last Airbender, the actual Avatar movie, with the blue animal people, the Na'vi.
I saw it with two guys the other day. 'Twas fuuun.
Anyone else seen it? It's a pretty good movie, took ten years to film. Not surprised, with all that editing and fur and glowy stuff. _____________________ HOO HOO HOO |

| I swear it's not what it looks like.Ahem. But I have to agree with you, though everything looked great on the ads, it was even better in the actual movie (Oh, duh.). Plus, I saw it in 3D, which only made it all the more cool. I think they put in a lot of time and effort into it, especially in comparison to, oh, say, the movie '2012'. It took them years overall, I think they worked really hard. _____________________ HOO HOO HOO |

| Uh-huh. I'm so sure. ;]
I saw it in regular 2-D, and I still liked it. I didn't see the trailer until after I saw the movie, and the actual movie was SO MUCH MORE than what the trailer revealed. It was really, really good.
From what I've heard, the idea for the movie was imagined in the 90s, but they weren't CAPABLE of doing that advanced CGI until recently. |

| I also saw it in 2-D my dad saw it in 3-D and said it was much better, It was overwhelmingly epic in 2-D , I couldn't see it better than that. The effects made it amazing, but I thought that the plot was predictable. They foreshadowed too many details. But it was still great. |

Don't know why, but I guess I was gob smacked by all the effects and all. I am so going to watch it in 3D soon! |

| I thought it was really good, I just wish I had seen it in 3D. But even without it, it was impressive. | Spoiler: | | | I had been hoping thought that he would stay as a human in the end. Or even cooler would be if they made a machine where the Na'vi could live in a human body. |
But eh, ending aside, I thought the movie was really really good. |

| I saw it, both in 3d at the theatre and at my house in bluray. Not going to lie, greatest Effects I've ever seen, but not that great aside from that. Think Pocahantis, but blue. The plot is a knock-off of that, which is based off of the europeans moving into north america. Worth watching though |
