Ari just laughed, "Whatever you say, Chase." He just nodded in a friendly way with a pleasant smile. "Unfortunately, it will have to come down to that, one day, of course." He told him, "And when that day comes, you have to refuse to look back." He continued, offering his advice, "Then be happy about it. You're marrying a girl you love." He chuckled, "Show a little happiness." But then he nodded as if really understanding now, "Oh, that infamous voice. I've dealt with it before, myself. Especially when it came to the decision of my leaving from home. But you have to make the decision and just go. No looking back." The red head sighed lightly.

"A spitfire?" Ari just laughed, "A challenge then. There's no harm in fanning the flames, is there?"

Chase sighed. "I realize that. I just like to trick myself into thinking that if I ignore it long enough, it'll go away. At least temporarily, until I have time -and patience - to deal with it." He was surprised into a smile. "I hope you don't get the impression that I'm unhappy in marrying Mia. That's not the case at all. Instead, it's more of a pre-wedding jitters scenario. I guess it's not only the bride who gets them." He paused and added, "She's not just a girl I love. She's the girl."

Something Ari said next resonated deep within him, and he stared up at the sky as they found their way into his thoughts. "No looking back," he repeated.

There was a piece of grass stuck in his hair, and he plucked it out as he commented, "No harm at all. As long as you don't play her around. If there's one thing I don't need, it's the gossip flying around town - and my store. Makes things too noisy." He grinned to show his jesting intent.

Ari nodded, "Ah, yes. But it'll catch up with you one day then. Best to deal with it now than to have to have it put up a bigger fight later for having ignored it." He spoke up. His brow perked up as he listened to the boy speak more, "No, I wasn't under that impression at all, really. It only sounded like..." He paused trying to think of a word, "You couldn't really believe it... I suppose." He chuckled softly, "Pre-wedding jitters? Well, I hope those leave you before you stand up at the alter." He told him, "No girl wants to be left up there." He continued, but in a more softened tone. He smiled a little wider, "That's good. I'm happy to know that you feel for her that much. A relationship like that is almost priceless." He spoke again.

Ari nodded, "No looking back." He restated, a little firmer this time.

The red head let out a soft laugh, "I don't think I would ever even really have the conscious to be able to do that to a person, let alone a person like Dylan. She's too nice of a girl to do that too." He quickly replied, "Sadly, the gossip I cannot control, but if I could, I would keep it to a minimum." He laughed.
