Savannah was far from home today, traveling all the way to Sunshine Island to merely just stand on it's shoreline. But something had just pulled her there that day. She let out a soft sigh as she removed the shoes from her feet to step into the cold waters of the sea. She chuckled softly to herself as she wiggled her toes in the wet sand, thinking upon how she could never do this back in the city. Her red hair blew softly in the wind as she pushed a stray piece from her eyes behind her ear.

Kyle couldn't really put his finger on...well, anything, anymore. He couldn't explain why he had suddenly packed his bags and headed for the island, leaving the comfort and convienence of the mainland. Strictly speaking, he had been following his brother. He wasn't there for himself. But it kind of felt selfish. In a way, he didn't feel like he didn't fit into the grind of the Valley. He wasn't the kind of person that everyone he had met seemed to be - kind, hospitable, open. He felt out of place.

Wherever he went, though, he could usually find himself back at the beach. And this time, he wasn't alone. It seemed he never was, nowadays. Not wanting to disturb the girl who was already there, he settled down in the opposite corner of the beach and stretched his legs out on the sand. Who cared if his work uniform, which he still hadn't changed out of, was getting sandy? Certainly not him.
