| The opening ceremony started last night and i couldnt believe that america had 216 athletes!
Im watching the olympics as i'm typing :3.
Are you guys watching the olympics?
Oh, one guy died right before the opening ceremony D8 from a crash while practicing.

| The luge accident saddened a lot of people and that guy was that country's only athlete. Happened one day before the opening ceremonies. What bad luck. |

| A guy died last year?! I think I heard that but I don't remember... I was watching men's figure skating and I watched the snow boarding (Shaun White FTW) I saw some Russian dude ice skate and he was like, perfect but really arrogant. He's the one that left that Olympics after he won for three years and then came back to "crush his enemys" |

| I feel like this is getting intense. Much of the usual programming gets replaced with the Olympics and there's televisions even in McDonald's to cover it. I thought Apolo did a good job... Even though he got 3rd to Korea...  But it sort of looked like he was pushed? I don't know, I haven't watched very much of the Winter Olympics in the past years--besides figure skating 'cause thats my favorite
And a couple from American skated to a "Phantom of the Opera" montage! It was so awesome!!! I wish they could've won gold |
