"This is way too problematic." Frederik mumbled under his breath. He paced down the path, wondering whether it was the right decision or not, to move here that is. He sighed heavily, forcing these thoughts to leave his mind. Frederik's gaze switched from left to right, examining the surroundings he realised that it was quite similar to Mineral Town. Not good, but as long as it is NOT Mineral Town he'll be fine, at least that's what he hoped for. His aim was to forget the past and move on, but to win without risk is to triumph without glory. Frederik knew that painfully well.

The guy stopped as a presence of another person reached him. With his hands still in pockets, Frederik took a look around. He probably wished for the presence he felt before, to be only his mind playing tricks on him. It wasn't.

What was the reason why Kitty came to this place? She didn't know herself, probably an outcome of her boredom that had been occupying her mind for awhile. Summer, her favorite season was here, but she couldn't help but be unamused with her home surroundings. Steadily she paced up and down the path thinking if coming to Forget Me Not Valley was where should have gone, afterall she always came here. What about Sunshine Island? The image of the place hardly stuck to her head at all and this place had always been crystal clear like the water at the Goddess Pond.

Kitty walked quietly looking at the ground where her feet where about to step. The next thing she knew she ran into a guy a few inches taller than her. Snapping out of her thoughts for a second she steped away from the person and hastly apologized, "Sorry--wasn't watching where I was going."

Frederik shook his head, labelling the previous feeling as a fake alarm, he moved on. Although even a minute hadn't passed when someone bumped into the guy and apologised right away. He blankly stared at the brown haired girl, obviously not happy about the sudden encounter.

"Usually people watch themselves when they are walking." He shrugged while his eyes were still fixed on the girl in front. "Not too sure about this case."

Frederik lingered for a moment, sleepily shuffling a coin with his hand still in pocket. He had completely no intentions to chat and ponder around, but he was way too tired to shoo this girl away, plus getting familiar with people around here would be a good. After a short awkward silence he let out a sigh and introduced himself

"Frederik's the name." Expecting to create a conversation he hopefully glared at the girl's eyes.

At first Kitty wasn't shure wheather that this guy was a smart-alec or just easily annoyed by his comment. The way he looked was clearly unhappy, but then again no one in their right mind would be happy about being ran into. When she heard the last bit of his comment though she was already tempted to slap him silly. It was just an accident, he did not need to view her as careless.

There was a moment where she did not know what exactly to say to this strange guy. He was messing with something in his pocket and appeared to be annoyed by the akward silence. She did think of continuing down the path to where she was headed, but then he suddenly introduced himself. His blue eyes seemed to cut right through her with his glare, but she wasn't one to be intimidated. "Kitty," she said. "I'm a blacksmith that lives on Waffle Island."

Realising that the girl was annoyed by Frederik, he grinned. That's how everything was, that's how it usually went and he was fine with it. He was sure that now any moment the girl would punch him in the face, but instead she introduced herself as Kitty the blacksmith. Frederik's expression changed from annoyed to surprised, even the hand, that was still in the pocket, froze.

Hmm, this wasn't what he expected, but could work as well. The guy lifted his head a little to gaze up at the blue sky which matched his eyes perfectly. Quite the weird person he was, but in his opinion it was all right. Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards.

"What a coincidence," Frederik's eyes reverted back to Kitty. "I myself am a blacksmith... More like a trainee, who's working towards the goal to become a proper blacksmith."

Now that he took interest in Kitty, she wouldn't get rid off him that easily. Unless Frederik himself would lose interest, that was highly not likeable.

The look on Fredrick's face easily urged Kitty to giggle. She knew in her gut that'd he be surprised, but then again he surprised her with his comeback. Now they were both blacksmiths--ones that were supposed to know the same hard labor. Her previous master always told her that she could be cold to people, but once she knew one was a blacksmith she had to attempt to be nice to them.

Not knowing what exactly to say know she laughed aloud, "If I didn't worship the land my blacksmith walked on I think I might of punched you!" For a second she twirld a piece of her hair with her index finger, but then she went on to say, "You do have a master blacksmith right?"

Frederik let out a prolonged "hmm..." as his eyes watched Kitty laugh. She would've hit him, but not on the land of her blacksmith master. That was quite an interesting excuse, at least in his opinion. Well of course, he knew pretty well, that people are all different: weird, creepy, scary, nice, kind, out-going or shy.

Suddenly, when a question inducing him to tell about his blacksmith master left Kitty's mouth Frederik was literally forced to shut up. he froze as this sudden question proceeded to mess with his mind.

"I do have Blacksmith master, but-" Frederik paused, forcing himself to answer the question "... He's the sort of person I'd like to avoid speaking of."

After a moment of silence, he added

"I have reasons, no need to punch me" Quite a touchy subject this was, yet he still fooled around. Although fake mask of sleepiness won't convey all of his emotions, it will definitely show at least a small percentage of it.

It was clearly listening to him talk about the fact that he had a master blacksmith, but didn't want to talk about him that much. Kitty couldn't help but wonder what happened to cause the blonde to not want to talk about him. Personally, she loved her own master--he was like the father she couldn't remember having. A pain without a doubt, but he was the closest thing to a parent at the moment.

"Relax," Kitty said to the man. He seemed a little bit concerned about her punching him, but she understood that people keep certain things secert for a reason. "I'm not stupid enough to punch you for keeping something private, well private."

Frederik observed the girl for a moment before she gave him an answer.

"Good answer." Frederik's face lit up as a grin forced away the tension.

He found this person very interesting, albeit quite violent judging from her attitude, stance, personality and answers. Frederik wanted to figure out as much as one could possibly find out, thus the following inquiry was greatly influenced by his curiosity.

"Do you think you could show me around, and share your thoughts about our jobs?"

That may or may not appear weird, the question that is. Furthermore the following course of actions no longer depended on Frederik.

Fredrick was clearly something else--at first it seemed like the last thing he wanted to do was say 'hi' to her, but now the man actually wanted to talk with her a bit. She glanced at the watch on her wrist, she had plenty of time before she had to return to her store, so why not? It might be fun to get to know this guy a little better. On top of that he didn't seem that annoying as most men were to her.

"Okay," she said after a moment of thinking it over. "I have some time before I need to head back to Waffle Island, so I might as well help a fellow blacksmith then."

Watching the girl curiously, his thoughts trailed off. For whatever reason, he seemed doing fine at the moment, past appeared to be just a mirage somewhere in the horizon... But it's still there, like a ghost haunting him forever. Shaking off such thoughts and forcing away any unnecessary behaviour and suspicion, he gazed at the surroundings, in attempt to memorise the paths.

Hmm... This day will definitely be a long one, Frederik knew very well and did not deny, however he also didn't have lots of time... His workshop was not to be left alone for a long period of time, he was itching to work anyway. Although, wandering around was one of his hobbies as well, taking long walks as well. He couldn't settle down at one place for a long time and it often caused many problems in his matter.

But once in awhile can't be wrong? Now can it?

Frederik seemed to dose off for a second making Kitty curious of what in the world he was thinking about. He did seem like the kind of person who would have their thought all together and wouldn't be caught day dreaming, but one could never be shure. Afterall, she just met the man therefore she couldn't know him that well quite yet. "Yo," she said lightly punching him on his side and then taking a step towards town. "You coming or what?"
