So, my friends tell me i have a nack for writing lryics. Being an amature song-writer, i guess that's true. Anyway, in the chat box the other day, a certain SOMEONE *coughgennacough* kept singing the tree song. Yes, the tree song. "So and so sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G" You know the rest. Anyway, someone (either kitty, es, or ballad) suggested someone make an advetisement for HD so we can sing more tree songs(meaning get more people to join so we have more guys, although that's harldy the reason.) I was thinking today and I got an idea. (although orignally I wasn't going to do an advertisement, but i thought this would be fun.)

A music video advertisement. This links back to the 'nack for writing lyics" thing above. I am planning to write my own lyrics to the song "100 Years" By five for fighting. Only it's called, "Press the Register Button." I actually have the piano music for it, so i can play the opening. But after that, i'd just need the intrumental version of the song. However, i don't know how to get it. ^^' I have itunes, but i'm pretty much broke on that and itunes music refuses to go on pinnicle anyways. So, any ideas to where i could get the instumental version of the song? Ya, i could look it up on youtube, but i can't carry my computer around with me to diffrent locations. This is still a maybe, too. I have to work out all the kinks first and parental permission. Plus, my camra skillz aren't that great. But that's when we pull out a chair and pile things on top of it :'D

I was planning on doing a live-action version, but a cartoon sounds cool! I, too, have a youtube account(XD) but unfortunately, i have nothing to record my voice with. Well, I have a mic that plugs into the computer, but i haven't a clue how to use it....darn equipment....

lol. I have a windows movie maker and It only takes me a minute or two to make a 2 to 3 minute video XD

That's true; however, many of our girl characters are less active than some of our male characters.

Harvest Moon is, always has been, and probably always will be more popular for girls. It's not impossible to find guys who will join - hey, two of our staff members are guys - but Harvest Moon forums always attract more attention from girls. It's a fact of life. And some of our girls -and even one or two of our guys - registered here make both a boy and a girl character [when 2nd character requirements are met] to even it out.

It sounds stereotypical, but even with boy and girl games, boys in the target age group will most likely choose games like Halo, Call of Duty, and things like that. Trust me. I've tried to get my brother interested in the Harvest Moon games. He's played maybe a day in all of them, then got bored.

Rune Factory got it right, but that's about the main attraction for boys. And there's certainly exceptions. I'm just saying, it's always going to be more popular with girls.
