Ari was never one for parties, but he was willing to make an exception this time, for his new wife, Dylan. He stood by the Inn and near his wife, where the reception was going to be taken place and he was already a little bit nervous. He had helped Dylan with the planning a little bit but knew that he would be in way over his head but he smiled towards his new wife—she did a wonderful job.

Genna happily came to the reception, and not knwoing she was the first guest to arrive. She guessed she gets well second dibs on food since the couple will get food first. She shrugged and opened the door. She never really visited Mineral town, but she came here to see the new lives begin for her friends.

"Hey guys~" Genna greeted.

Chase leaned against the wall at the reception area. He had quickly and subtly changed out of his tuxedo and into something more comfortable, but still appropriate. He approached Ari and tapped him on the shoulder. "Congrats," he said, smiling sincerely. "It's great. Let me guess - Dylan decorated?" It was elaborate and beautiful and certainly no handiwork of any male alive. Or at least in Mineral Town. "You nervous?" He understood; even after the golden band was wedged onto a finger, nerves still found their way into a body, especially that of a brand-newlywed.

Wess walked in, dressed in a dark blue tuxedo with a sea-foam green tie with bluebells on it. He wasn't usually one to wear formalities, but it had been arranged. Signing his name on a poster he had brought secretly; he walked over to Genna to ask her to sign it. He energetically handed it and a blue pen to Genna; flipping the poster up to her. It showed a moon with a cow jumping over it; and under it; in big; green letters; it said, "CONGRATULATIONS!" It had a realistic miniature drawing of the Harvest Goddess next to the letters, and she was smiling. "Quick Genna, sign it!" Wess whispers; beckoning for Chase to come over as well.

Adamaris entered; and look much different than she normally did. Her chocolate brown hair seemed to be shorter; although it wasn't; it was in long ringlets, with pink bows dotted here and there. Her outfit was different too; she wasn't carrying her sword with her; and she was in a pink; tight looking dress; with white gloves. Her ears were hidden, but sparkly earrings were inserted; along with a pendant in the shape of a moon. Walking straight up to Ari, without knowing his name, she says timidly, "H-hi, I'm Ad-Adamaris, f-from the description, I'm t-taking it that you-you're Dylan's hu-husband?"

Suddenly Wess gave Genna a blue pen and he forced her to sign the card that had the harvest goddess smiling. She did a quick signature of her name. She gave the blue pen back to Wess. "There we go" Genna said smiling. She liked the choice of the card. Perfect for this event.

It was a big step. Getting married that is, she still was getting used to it. Part of her swore she had only met Ari not that long ago, but now here they were husband and wife. And she was perfectly happy with it. People came by and greeted them and Chase, her old boss had started to talk to Ari. "Thanks Mr. Haw-, Chase," she said overhearing their converstation. Even though she wasn't working for him it was still somewhat difficult for her to not view him as her boss.

The next thing she knew Adamaris came up and started talking to them. "I'm glad you could make it," she said smiling with warmth. It was really nice for her to come, since they met just recently. "Yep this is my husband Ari," she awnsered.

Chase came over and tapped the groom on his shoulder, speaking a comment, and made Ari laugh a little, “Is it really that noticeable?” He asked, before scratching the back of his neck. “But thanks Chase.” He held out his hand for a simple little handshake.

He turned towards a girl he hadn’t seen before. “It’s nice to meet you, especially on a day like this.” He chuckled, “My name is…” Dylan had already introduced him. “Thanks for coming. It means a lot, really.” He smiled warmly.

Adamaris nodded heartily; doing her best to keep the ringlets out of her eyes. Being jerked back suddenly by Wess; she let out a small squeak as she signed the poster. "Nice to meet you Adamaris! I'm Wess," he says; giving her a curt nod. Adamaris merely nods back, and makes herself scarce, not quite sure what to do. Make new friends maybe? Well... They'd have to befriend her first; as she barely had enough nerves to make herself noticeable to her friend's new husband.

As Dylan was starting a conversation with Adamaris, Wess suddenly pulled her away and draged him off somewhere. She was tempted to see what they were up to, but she wanted to stand by Ari. Her fingers found their way to his hand and she held onto it and she looked up at him smiling. "Having a good time?" she asked her new husband as she twirled a piece of her hair with her free hand.

Chase grinned. "Nerves have the uncanny ability to show themselves," he said. He grinned. When he had changed, he had stopped off at home and picked Clara up. He wanted to bring her to the reception for some odd reason that he couldn't quite identify. Maybe to show her off. Maybe to send subliminal messages to Dylan and Ari to start a family, themselves, so Clara could have a playdate. Maybe Chase just liked carting his daughter around.

For whatever reason, she was sitting in her baby seat by the wall, less than five feet away from him. When Ari was occupied with Dylan, Chase turned around and unstrapped Clara from her baby seat. He lifted her into his arms and said to her, "Let's go find something to drink." He was, after all, incredibly thirsty. Being a best man could do that to a guy.
