Now that Gabriel Cunningham was here for a few days he was starting to get a steady flow of people into his office. Most weren't for his services which annoyed him terribly though. Practically all of the people that walked into his office today were just 'looking' and he had to smile and be polite so they'd come to him when they were injured or sick. This left him in a sour mood as he looked up patient profiles on his laptop in his office. He fingers slided across the keys and he heard the bell on top of the door ring. He didn't leave to see who it was, if he was really needed he'd be called out there by the person.

The redhead felt like she could almost barely walk. Silly girl with her silly antics--she couldn't even believe what had happened herself. Thankfully she was by herself when it did happen otherwise she would have certainly died of embarrassment. She made her way through Mineral Town, since was the closest doctor's office she could think of, aside from the office in Waffle Town, but she would not walk all the way there, especially with her foot hurting.

As finally made it and went inside. Her clothes were dripping wet. She would have waited but strangely enough, her ankle hurt enough to make her nervous enough to scare her to the doctors office the same day of her little mishap. And no, it was not raining outside--she had slipped, twisting her ankle, and some how managed to fall into the river--perhaps she sprained it? She most certainly did not look like a happy camper that day. It was quiet inside of the office--was the doctor not in? "Hello?" Savannah called out, leaning on the other foot, trying not to put pressure on her hurting foot. "Anyone here?"

Yep, he was called out and by the tone of the voice definatly a patient. He closed his laptop and walked out to see a redhead drenched and by the looks of it trying not to put any pressure on her foot at all. "Go for a swim I take it?" he said knowing that it hadn't rained today at all. He walked up to the girl and offered her a hand moving around, "Here, let's go to the exam room where you can sit down."

He lead her into the exam room and up to the cot so she could relax her injured foot a bit. It still probably hurt and it was going to swell without a doubt. He couldn't help but think that most of the people here were clumsy so far. She was his second case with a broken bone and no one had diseases so far.

The doctor walked out and made some sort of comment about going for a swim. For once, Savannah actually remained serious, "Ha. Ha. Ha." She replied sarcastically as he walked towards her to help her. "Thanks." She mumbled, still not very happy about this, but she still took his hand as he helped her to the examination room. "It's probably nothing all that major." She shrugged on the way there, "Probably just needs a quick ice pack or a little bandage and it'll be fine." She spoke, as if trying to ignore the pain now.

She hopped up on the cot and relaxed her foot. She glanced down at it; it was bruising already and she let out a soft groan, "Awesome." It probably wasn't a good idea to walk here all the way from Forget-Me-Not Valley in her dripping clothes--last thing she needed was to get sick. "So if I could get like a quick wrap-up, I'll be on my merry way." She should have gotten out of those wet clothes before coming. If anything, she was going to wind up sick later anyway. At least she was at the doctor's office.

The girl wanted everything to be taken care of quickly, as did most people. "Wait until the endorphins stop," he commented removing the girl's shoe to see how badly it was damaged. It was bruised pretty badly and most of her ankle was a light purple. "Can you move it at all?" he asked to determine if an ace-bandage would do the job. For now he assumed that she'd need to ice it for twenty minutes every couple of hours for about a week or so, maybe even crutches for a few days too to prevent it from being damaged anymore.

Savannah let out a bit of a groan before leaning forward, pressing her elbow into her thigh and holding her jaw in her hand, "Fine." She gave in, listening to the doctor. She looked down at her foot and just tilted her head to the side, making an attempt to move it. She made a tiny bit of progress before wincing at the pain it had brought her, "A little." She mumbled; this was definitely going to cause a problem for the redhead, since she loved being out an about and if she couldn't travel, that would make her very unhappy. "What's the verdict, doc?" She questioned, brushing a piece of her wet hair from her face.

"Crutches and ice is your remedy," he said walking over to the metal cabinets of the room. He opened one up and grabed a roll of bandages from its selves. He returned to the girl after finding all the materials and began to wrap up her ankle. "For about three weeks I must add," he said as he carefully wrapped the bandage around her ankle. "I forgot to mention, I'm Dr. Cunningham." Most of the time as a doctor he was an EMT, so there had never really been the time to converse with patients at all. Just bandage them up quickly and move onto the next was the procedure he once had followed.

Her expression drooped a bit as hearing the answer, "Oh." She mumbled, but then shrugged, "I suppose it would be worse." She stated, though it did sound more like she was talking herself than to the doctor. Then there was the time factor. "Three weeks?" She whined, "Thanks for wrapping it up at least then, doc." She spoke simply. He then introduced himself, Savannah thought about it for a moment, "I think we might have met before." She thought aloud, "I'm Savannah, or Ms. Stark if you want to get technical about it." She chuckled weakly.

"Only a week on crutches if you commit to them," he added when he heard her surprised reaction. He had a feeling she'd say something on the lines of that, she seemed like such a lively girl. At least she wasn't as bad as some his past patients that would threaten a lawsuit every time they heard bad news. "I think not," he said. If so he probably was half asleep or busy smoking sometime. "First name is Gabriel, if you want to be casual," he replied. He prefered to be called by his last name though.

"Wonderful." She replied rather dryly to the crutches comment. Taking her weight from her hand, she straightened up and listened as he continued. "Oh." She replied, "My mistake then." She shrugged off. Well, wasn't he just the a bundle of joy? Savannah thinned her lips and just nodded--he was certainly very serious. Must not have known how to live a little. "Then thank you for your assistance, Dr. Cunningham." She spoke, seeing as this was a time where using his last name would be appropriate, but the next time she saw him outside of the office, just to bust his chops, she would Gabriel and the like, maybe even silly little nicknames. He would be an interesting reaction to things like that, which made the woman curious.

Savannah was clearly dissapointed, but if she didn't want to be on crutches so badly she should have not been so careless to hurt herself in the first place. "What did you do to sprain your ankle like this?" he questioned the girl not of curiousity, but of boredom. "It's the job, it's what I do," he replied to her thanks. He scratched the top of his head and then proceeded to a closet. "How tall are you?" he askes so he could find out the right crutches size for the girl.

Of course, she knew she would wind up having to explain her story to the doctor. Savannah took a breath, "I was walking along side of the river in Forget-Me-Not Valley and I slipped on on a patch of wet grass or whatever, twisting it on the way down pretty good, and I fell into the river." She spoke, as if things like that happen every day. She shrugged her shoulders, "No worries then." She tilted her head to the side, thinking about her height. "About... Five foot, two inches." There was a slight pause. "Yes, I'm really short."

Savannah was oddly casual with her words already, even though the two just met. It must had been a country thing or something, because that was what most of the people he met so far were like. As if they felt secure and carefree here. The girl was indeed short, but Gabriel didn't notice because she was walking weirdly in the first place and he always payed attention to wounds before anything else really. The results of his education was the cause of that. "Yet another clumsy one," he said grabing a pair of crutches and setting them to the girl's height. "What's with all the unattentive girls in this place?"

Savannah merely shrugged, assuming it was a rhetorical question, but being the kind of girl she was, she was going to come up with some sort of answer anyway. "Hey, I was paying attention. It's not my fault that the ground decided to fall from underneath me." She responded. "And there's really not that many. Like that," She motioned to her foot, "Is a one time deal for me. Now some other girls here, you'll soon know them all on a first name basis." She chuckled; well it was a bit true, there were some girls that could barely stand up on two feet without tumbling over in the next few seconds.

"You better live up to your words then," he replied to the girl's long awnser. She may have been right, but for now he'd remain skeptical until he didn't see her at his clinic for awhile. "I know what you mean," he mummbled. "I have a weird feeling that I'm going to see a certain patient a lot. She acted as if hardly anything happened and appeared to be used to get casts." Quitely in almost a whisper to himself, "Those kind of patients get annoying and act as they know everything about medicine eventually."

Savannah chuckled, "I'll do my hardest, chief." Adding a mock salute to her words. She listened to him speak, after hearing that last bit, she nodded. "Oh boy, I know that feeling. People think that after doing something for a year, that they're suddenly an expert on the topic." She spoke, "People like that are annoying really." She crossed her arms over her chest, "People who think they're musicians are the worst, really."

For such a firey personality the girl seemed rather mature compared to people Gabriel had met so far. She could be goofy, but she did understand the thing he hated the most. By the sounds of it, people like that annoyed her too. There was a possiblity that they could get along, but Gabriel didn't care bothering with those sort of things. He was a doctor and that's what he tried to remain to patients and not their friends, for no particular reason too. The most logical explanation was that he was a loner bounded by his high intellegence. "I don't think they can die from that," he pointed out. "But you do have a point. Just cause you learned to barely play a few chords or notes, it doesn't mean you're good at it."
