Genna was frustrated for some reason. She couldn't sleep because some noise kept scaring her during her sleep. She was tired and frustrated. Just great. She woke up around 3 am, three hours before she was supposed to wake up. She just wanted to fall on the dirt and sleep. "Yea, like I sleep walk to forget me not valley. That's nice" Genna mumbled. But she didn't want to scare anyone finding a person on the road just sleeping there. That would be dramatic, so she just walked along the road to get herself moving.

Wess walked along the road, tired from the days work. He spotted a familiar figure. "Genna? It's three in the morning, shouldn't you be sleeping?" he asked in a concerned tone. "It's like three hours before sunrise, you have to get back in bed," he whispers carefully, wrapping his arm around her; not sure what to do. If she was sleep walking.... No, he heard her voice, impossible. She had to be awake; he was awake.

Genna wanted some coffee or something that will wake her up. She sighed until she stopped walking. Someone was behind her, and her good friend Wess was there. "Yea, I just...i think I slept walked here and now I'm tired. Kinda impossible" Genna giggled silently. Something was not right. Why was Wess here also? She looked at his face with a confused look on hers. There was a silence for a moment until she spoke up.

"Why are you up?" Genna whispered.

"I couldn't sleep. Shame really, I should be in bed, just like you," Wess laughs; unknowingly leading Genna towards his house. While they converse, he still didn't realize it, until the came to a stop right in front of the ranch. Wess blinks a few times. "Look, even my legs tell me it's time for bed," he laughs, feeling the breeze pick up; making it one of those cool summer nights. He saw lightning flash once; although it wasn't raining. "Summer lightning," he whispers.

"Pffft you to?" Genna said following Wess. She didn't know where she was going. It was pitch black and she could bump right into a lampost. Soon she stopped at Wess's farm. That was fast. Who knew the regular dirt trail led to her friends farm. The animals must be sleeping also so she kept quiet. until a lighting flash came. She literally jumped.

"Isn't fall though?" Genna whispered loudly.

"Uh.. Yeeaaaaahhhh," Wess says, having completely forgot. "Well... Urm.... Kay," he said awkwardly, sitting down on a quaint little bench painted blue like everything else. "You think I like the color blue to much?" Wess asks, laughing, he swept away a leaf on the bench, and watched he fall, tumbling on the ground delicately and gently. "Beautiful night though," he says, beckoning at the moon.

Genna laughed by the mistake he made. She smiled and look up at the sky glad it wasn't raining. Although it was 3 am she felt awake now. Also it was a day off from work. Hooray. "I like blue also, All of us can be obssesed with colors." Genna answered. She wasn't crazy for blue but the blue bench did match the name of his farm so he had to match the colors. She took a seat next to Wess and smiled.

"You know what confuses me? Thunder has a sound but lighting doesn't"

"Thunder is the byproduct of lightning," Wess says, making circles with his fingers and putting them over his face so it looks like he has cookie class on. "Lightning moves at the speed of light, which makes it faster than sound," "Thunder it the noise lightning makes when it hits the ground," Wess lays his head on Genna's shoulder and yawns. He was tired; farm life was wonderful and terrible at the same time.

"Oh, No wonder" Genna said looking at the sky until she looked back at Wess who's head was on her shoulder right now. He was tired and looked like he could pass out at any minute. "Hey let's get you back in your house" Genna said lightly flicking his head. Farm work must have worn him out. She shrugged with her other arm and just waited for Wess to get up and going then she could gte back home ang go back to sleep. "Geez, farm work tires you out this much?" Genna thought.

Wess followed Genna, he unlocked his door lazily and entered. The house was quaint, covered in silks of blue and white. There was a bed in the corner. "You seem tired too, can't let you sleep walking around places like this, wild dogs can get you and everything, you'd better stay the night here," he says, yawning. "Do you want my bed or the c-couch," Wess yawns again, plopping down on the bed- he had fallen asleep.

As she entered the house she was pretty amazed. The house seemed very organized. "Huh?" Genna questioned. Staying the night at his house? She could make it back home. "C'mon Genna have a sleepover for once will ya?" That voice...She couldn't make it out but it wasn't hers. "I can take the couch." Genna said. She found a blanket hanging over the couch and a few pillows sitting there on the couch. Soon she was comfortable. But that voice, she couldn't tell who's it was.

"Just get some shut eye"The voice said again.
