So today I got a second dog, and my older dog kept on threatning him so I thought we wouldn't get to keep him )= But we did. After awhile they got along really well but when I was alone in the house (since parents had to run errands) My brother and I were in charge although my brother was sleeping STILL. So I just sat and watched TV while the dogs were doing the same thing. Then Ryder (the new dog) got up and was hungry and Went to Sophie's bowl (Older dog). Then Sophie got mad and growled at him and almost looked like they were going to attack each other. So I ran to the two trying to break them up and I yelled my brother's name. And Guess what? He didn't come )=. *Sigh* but I got it settled.

Rule of thumb.


NEVER EVER EVER let your dogs near the other's food dish. It's just asking for trouble. Especially now that one of them is new. My dogs, both very sweet and gentle, have gotten into fights with each other over food. My family feeds our dogs in two separate rooms.

But when yours get used to each other, it may be different. I dunno, I'm no dog whisperer. xD

My dogs have been in another fight but i did take your advice ES. Thank you But Ryder is going to sleep in my room till thye gte along I guess :/
