Medicines were a pain in the butt, and that was that. So was being a doctor, but Gabriel enjoyed that to some extent. It was like a puzzle for his mind, something he wanted to solve as quick as possible. Then again, he did enjoy it when he didn't have any work to do and could just sit back and watch life go by. "The world would be so much easier without sickness or injury," Gabriel said. "If that happened we'd be out of a job though."

"Plus, we may live forever. It isn't right though. Then we wouldn't be humans. Weird, eh?" Michael said. Humans are not humans if we make mistakes or accidents. He once had a patient saying, "What's the point of medicine if were going to die anyways?". That saddened him, deeply. He just wished sometimes people could only die of old age which was natural. Too bad that can't happen in the world of illness and cruel people. He sighed and took a big gulp of his beer.

Their converstion was interesting and reminded him of his partner he had back at Resurgam. It was an annoying computer that said there was a ninety percent chance he was human, the other ten percent he still doesn't know, but it had talked some sense into him once. He had conflicted feelings leaving the hospital, but left anyways. "You said it," Gabriel agreed finishing off his drink. He got up and scratched the back of his head. "I'll see you later," he said. "I've got to get back to Mineral Town since I have work tommorow."
