nowadays,there are a lot of movie versions of games showing
like Tekken which is based form the hit fighting game series Tekken.
and I thought when will Harvest Moon have a movie?an animated movie.

Hahahaha. That would be cool. HM is such an open-ended game, though; it really allows you to make your own goals and choose your own path in the game. It'd be kind of hard to make a movie of that, because, well, there are so many different styles of gameplay and so many games to choose from!

The best way to make HM a movie is probably an anime. Countless episodes instead of just fitting it in on an 2 hour movie =x But Sunshine Islands and IoH are perfect for that I guess because then people won't have to fight about couples. Like Chelsea/mark would make a good couple in that game because they're both characters you can play as.

So to sum it up..

Anime
Main Couple= Chelsea+Mark
And the plot is reviving the island I guess xD

I always thought that Harvest Moon would make a great DVD game. Like the movie's plot would move as smoothly as usual, but you could influence the choices the main characters make, and eventually a bachelor/ette is chosen according to what selection of options you picked.

but hey, if Professor Layton is getting a movie, then there's no reason why Harvest Moon shouldn't. D:

I'm not sure it would make for a good movie actually. Maybe a TV drama show, but not a movie. I can't see much in the way of epic clashes or rock-hard storyline. Maybe Rune Factory since it has a much greater storyline with challenges to face. If anything, perhaps RF 3 would make the best material: a half-beast half-human trying to unite the univr and the humans, trying to discover his own past and having to fight a sea monster to save the woman he loves.

Well...a movie isn't going to be very good...I would like it to be an anime cause I love cute anime series!

I have to agree with Amando. A movie wouldn't go far unless it was liek Rune Factory and had a big story line.

Having a little animation like Hetalia, a five minute thing, would be cute htough. X3

I like the Rune Factory 3 because I think it'd be the perfect balance of action and comedy. With hilarious girls like Sofia and Karina, I think I'd be a hit. (Oh you Sofia always talking in opposites, even at the wedding. And Karina, you're such a lazy bum. You wanted to marry me so you wouldn't have to work. ^^)

I think it would be awesome. If I had more mmd skills, as well as harvest moon mmd models, I'd do an animation!

I think there might be a short anime clip about Harvest Moon on youtube or something. And yes, I'd be glued to my computer for hours watching it - maybe days if it was long enough. And I'm sure that any of the story lines would make an interesting anime.
