I LIKE planning for things four months in advance. ;]

I'm talking about NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writer's Month). It happens every November. The premise of the event is, you write 50,000 words of a novel in a month. That's it. You're not competing for prizes (although "winners" are given a coupon to a publishing site for when they edit their stories and want them in book form, and you get a certificate of completion and everything).

It's incredibly self-satisfying, though. I was really proud of myself for winning last year, and I really enjoyed doing it, too.

So, this year, I'm starting a little early. Technically, November is ALMOST three months away, so it's not that bad. I'm thinking up character names, settings, stuff like that...but most importantly, I'm thinking up plot bunnies. I've been working all morning on those, and right now, I have six that are poorly developed on paper, but each one has like...branches in my head. xD My brain is weird like that.

Idea #1

Inspired by AQworlds, Maximum ride, AND NOT TWILIGHT. NU UH. ONT GET THE WRONG IDEA. 12 heroes join together in one heroic team. They all start in a school until the principal turns evil and the 12 friends run for escape. The school staff is now tracking them down. They live anywhere around the world now an destroy their enemies in their way. Characters: 1.) Shadow (Soul taker/human) 2.)Bell (Avian/human) 3.) Bella(Avian/human) 4.) Jake (Knight) all knights are human >.> 5.) Twilight (Vampire/human) 6.) Omatic (Vampire/human) 7.)Brian (Avian/ human) 8.)Leah (Mermaid/ Human) 9.)Star (Magical person) 10.) Matthew (magical person) 11.) Connie (magical person) 12.) Mike (magical person). Oh gawd I'm so weird xD I had this idea for liek 6 months, and i'm still trying to find a plot v.v.

	Inspired by Trauma center/team A young surgeon who just got a job at a local hospital is going swell. Until he is the only surgeon on duty .A nurse comes in and helps. they soon find their love for eachother. Will their love last or just die out? *Does evil laugh*

You should do it, Genna! I like your ideas, and NaNoWriMo is really an outlet to just get everything out, and then go back and edit later on. If the idea of 50000 words in a single month is daunting, there's a Young Writer's Program (check HERE for info) where you can set your own word goal. It's a LOT of fun and it's really rewarding, too.

As far as my personal stuff goes, I'm going to be blogging about my NaNoWriMo stuff this year. xD Don't make fun of me; this actually helps. Once I get the blog up and running, I'll post a link to it in my profile so those who are interested can follow my progress.

I'm thinking of doing it this year, because I wanted to last year. (I'm sad that I didn't do it and forgot about it.)

I only have a couple ideas for stories that I've been thinking of:

1. It's a love story type thingy. The main character ends up falling for this guy, who is her best friend, but someone else likes him too so she gives him up for her--even though she knew the guy long before her. She helps the girl get him and in the procces becomes a close friend of her. Her friend's realtionship ends badly and ends up going nowhere and the main character has long given up on the guy she onced really liked. Her friend suffers from mood swings from the break up and yet the main character tries to keep their friendship intact, but it is on the edge of breaking. After getting some sense into the main character she realizes that she doesn't need the abuse that one girl gave her and during their senior year in high school the girl finally tells the guy that she likes him. They go out untill graduation, but the main character goes to a college far away while the guy stays within the state. The girl longs to see him again, but she doesn't want to return to her old life. (It's such a weird little story. xD) 2. It's sort of a sci-fi fantasy thingy. The main character used to have a great life. The good grades, captain of the basketball team (or some other one), and the girl of his dreams. That is untill he finds out he is the heir to the world demons. Now his life is full of danger since he isn't a 100% demon, only around 50% actually. Many demons don't approve of him as the heir so people try to kill him while he doesn't know how to use any of his new powers yet. Once he passes his basic training and before he can take the thrown he has to pass a difficult journey to show his worth to the demons. 3. Fantasy love story thingy. There are two main characters and the story is told from both of their points of view. The mc (main charater) guy ends up falling is love with the mc girl, but the girl ends up being murdered right after the guy proposed to her and she said 'yes.' The guy ends up slowly going mad searching for the man that killed the woman he loved and the woman watches over him closly, yearning to speak to him. 4. Another fantasy love story thingy. It starts out showing the main character standing near a man (who is playing a melacholic piece on the piano) she loves and is talking to him. She says things like, "I remember how I fell in love with you." It goes through their memories. The main character being the girl next door to the boy. It shows how they gradually fell in love and things like that. The last story is when they are exploring old collapsed buildings and they venture their seperate ways exploring different buildings. The girl is looking inside at art painted in one, but then she is bitten by a poisonous snake. The last scene of this story is the guy carrying the main character who is collapsed and he is crying. It shows them as adults in the same room and the girl touches the man on the shoulder, but there is no reaction. Then another woman comes in the room and walks through the mc and hugs the man who is playing the paino and kisses him on the cheek. Then the main character breaks the bonds with the guy and puts her soul to rest.

You can probably tell which stories I like the most. xD
I'm not shure which of my favorites I should write though.
