Spring was going really slow, and Genna liked that. She was still recovering from giving birth to her daughter. She decided she'll come back to work soon, but why not spend a few more days with her daughter? Showing the world around her as always.
She was tired of watching educational baby shows but she couldn't help show a few butterflies or some other insects that are harmless. Sure Grace was not quite a month old and sleeps a lot but Genna wanted to do so anyways.
She sat down holding her daughter in her arms who was awake right now. "See Grace? That's a common butterfly," Genna said pointing at the butterfly fluttering above them. Grace gave sort of a blank stare but soon put up her arms waving them around to see if she could just catch it. Genna giggled.
It was almost summer and there was just so much work to do. Calling her store that she was ready to come back, feeding the cow back at the farm, and just taking care of Grace. She didn't like high temperatures, and did not like putting on sunscreen. But she had to do it so she wouldn't burn till she got skin cancer. That was one of her biggest fears. She already had been through enough.
A sigh escaped from her lips. She was just sleepy.
