ok so me and my brother were looking stuff up on the computer...then the horrible was found! They are making a live action...*gulp* Death note movie!!! D : but thats not the worst part...the main charrie is being played by...Zac Effron!!! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

When I read the news I about screamed bloody murder. Zac effron is to preppy to play a dark emoish type. I pray that they will get a good L charrie..and not even think about the person who plays edward collins x.x. If they pick him...(he seems to be getting popular so we have to be carefull) I will go over to the person who decided for this to happen and kick that scum butt! ; . ; Im still ticked off about the zac effron.

Sure, it sucks that he's playing Light, but as long as he plays the part right, then I'm sure he'll do an okay job. They may have picked him because he looked the part. And who knows, his audition for it may have been spot on (if this movie is seriously real and not some false advertisement). I don't really like him either, but give the man his due. ;p

I say give him a chance and if he sucks, well then you can critize his acting.
Just because he's good at one role doesn't mean he'll be bad at another. I'm not the biggest fan of him myself, but I tend to not like preppy characters so I want to see him as a different role before I decide that he can or can't do a part.

I looked up some info too about it and it says casting hasn't started yet.
This just means it is possible for Zac to get the part, but it doesn't mean he has it.

Zac Efron's been in some darker and more mature stuff recently. I really think he's trying to break out of his HSM days and become a respectable actor in the film industry, not just a teen pop icon.

Give him a chance. See where it goes. 8D
