I always suck with coming up with an introduction... Actually, no, wait. I suck at coming up with ideas for what to write in an introduction; now that's much much better! ... Hoooooooold on, that isn't better at all! Oh who cares!

The name's irregularEscapist (obvious inside joke: IE!, although I don't even use Internet Explorer...), otherwise known as YURAISHO on certain websites due to the character limit. Eheheheheh. I'm currently 16, living in Quebec, Canada. A fact for people who don't know that place, we speak French more than English here. As of today, people are starting to talk in English a little more than in French. Although I'm physically female, I consider myself as a pangender; someone who is nor male, nor female. I hope it doesn't bother anyone. My nationality happens to be Vietnamese. It's just that I was born in Canada.

The reason for my registration to this forum? Well, two reasons. One, I was looking for a simple roleplay forum where I wouldn't be worried about getting criticized. & two, I haven't actually played Harvest Moon for a long time so I thought "Hey, why don't I try to refresh my memories of it?" The only problem about this is that I'm worried about messing up a roleplay's plot... Which reminds me about how I need to check the character sheet to see if there's something in particular I could do. ... Which also reminds me to get an avatar & signature. (During the time I was typing this, I haven't gotten an avatar nor a signature on yet. Heheheheheh. Oops. Oh silly me!)

I'll probably play a Harvest Moon game again if I have the chance since I'm working on multiple projects in real life at once. Roleplaying is a way for me to relieve my stress. Other than that, um...

Hey, can anyone tell me if this place is half-dead? I have a hard time figuring out since the time that I registered here, I didn't see anyone online. Maybe it's just the timezone but it makes me rather worried. Just saying.

Other, OTHER than that, I hope to see you all around here! I'll try to be active often... Just as long as I don't lose the link again. I probably won't considering the fact that a registration confirmation link was sent on my email; I could always backtrack it to find this place again! Nihihihi.

[ Edit ] A-ra-ra~! I really need to figure out how the character sheet works, hmm? Since I'm new here, there are some parts that I'm rather unsure. So, after I've posted my character application, I have to immediately post the journal & heart rate in two different posts? Filled with blanks? Another thing is, correct me if I'm wrong, the dream job is the character's job if approved? Because, if that's the case, I was planning to make my character a photographer or a journalist... A sort of traveler who collects data of towns and islands, gathering them up to make an article or something like that. I hope that wouldn't be too troublesome.

Ahh no worries about roleplaying here~ we dont really have a plot as far as I know :3

EDIT: oh and about the profile Info some users like to post journals and stuff on different posts but it can be all in one post~ And the character dream job is basically what they want to be like a teacher for example. If there was a school already created then your character can ask the owner of the school to sign up and all that jazz. Or vice versa. And a photoghrapher sounds nice~ Go right ahead!

Unfortunately, you are correct in observing that our activity here is dwindling a bit. I know that all of the admins, including myself, are absolutely swamped with work. One of our admins is currently participating in an overseas exchange student program. The other two of us are high school upperclassmen who work a lot and have a ton on our plates. It's no excuse for not checking in here, though! I make it a point to log in and read through, but I have not been posting a lot lately. I hope to change this, though!

I make it my job to check on the site every day, but due to a stressful(In my own opinion) Sophomore Career Research Paper worth 70% of my tech grade, my ability to graduate, and my sanity, I won't post as often. I believe most of our active members are likewise in some shape or form. It is very lively in Spring and Summer! I have came to the conclusion that HD members hibernate.
