really? I don't know, but for me it only goes to the unlock event if I talk to him first

certain things you give them raise their love points a certain amount. try giving them items everyday that is worth 800 or 500 lp and it wont take as long. if it is a guy from mfomt or fomt then it will take awhile. Also, you can only give one gift a day to raise their lp. if you give them more then one gift in one day, it will only raise up their friend point, not their love points. if you throw things like weeds and stones on the ground, it is 'littering' and takes a couple of love points away. if an animal dies it takes a couple of thousands of love points away, so don't do that either. good luck!

the trick there is a place and time for that...

your game's not broken, just choose 1 of mineral town boys and focus on giving him the gifts that way, you don't have to find every mineral town guy to give your gifts.
just choose the one you really like, and focus on him.

just keep giving them their favorite items..
talk to them everyday...
know their schedule...
