Well I've thought about it and the forum's theme is a winter theme. So since I'm going to redesign the forum/site for spring, I am thinking that we can have a Harvest Moon Banner contest for the forum itself!

Rules
What goes on the banner:
1.)Spring Theme! So as long as you make it look Spring-ish, it's fine! I can't really elaborate on it because there's nothing else to say (if you add snow, that means it's a winter theme)
2.)You need the words "Harvest Dreams" somewhere on the banner
3.)Use Harvest Moon type pictures.
EDIT -(can I use fan art? - ask the original artist if you can first)
- (Can I draw? ~Yes)
-(You can use official HM art. Here's some official HM pics http://www.hmeternity.net/art_archives/ )

Size (IMPORTANT! Many members sent me banners that are larger than the max size below!)
-Minimum Width/Height: 400px × 150px
-Max Width/Height: 700px × 200px

What Program Can I use?: Anything that can help you make the banner
EDIT: Noticing that many do not own an expensive graphics program, here's a recommended free one called Gimp http://www.gimp.org/

Winning: your banner will be displayed at the top of this forum until Summer time and you'd be on the event win list ^_~ Don't worry about matching the forum colors. (I am going to redesign the forum for a spring feel after I see the winning banner.)

Duration: Well, I would like to end it on March 21st (in which spring starts) but I predict it might be too short. This banner making ends on March 26th. I'd need a few days to have the votes and to redesign things by March 30th.

Submission: Send to me through pm. In the pms, there's a "host an image" button if you don't have an image storage account such as Photobucket.

Gimp: Very popular free graphics program. I've never used it myself but a friend has used it, and created mini buttons, and banners.

I'll join! Anyway, for harvest moon, can we use other people's drawing? if no, then I would try to draw it myself.

I think it's better to not use Fan Art.

Official art should be fine in my opinion since we're a fan site of the company that created it itself, but using fan art from individual fans without their permission may have mixed feelings. If you want to use the fan ones already on Harvest Dreams, just ask those people if you're allowed to use them. =)

man, dis looks like funz. idk if i could do i though.... the meauring is kind of tricky for me, in other words, idk how to do it. i think i might try..... idk the first thing about making a banner though. T^T
