Quietly, Red raised her arms and strung her arrow. She pulled back the string and focused her gaze on the target, blocking out as much noise as possible.

She let go of the string and the arrow flew to the edge of the red section. It was close to a bullseye, but they were rare occasions for her. She always landed on red, whether she wanted to or not.
Red had taken up archery as a child, but forgot about it when she found she didn't have much time for it. She had recently found her bow again, so she had decided to take it out once more.

*arrow comes flying past red and hits the center of bullseye* "hiya red!"

"Wooooah!" Red fell back as the arrow flew by in surprise.
"Hi Ciera" she finally responded, gathering her wits again. "Nice shot!" she added with a smile.

"thanks, I've been practicing." *smiles happily*

As Jake was wandering around around the city, he noticed Ciera and Red.
"Hey guys....What are you doing?"

"Oh! Hey Jake. I'm failing at Archery." she replied with a giggle. "You want a try?" she offered her bow out to him, ready to pull another arrow from the quiver. It was a challenging sport, but it was always more fun when people did it with you.

Arden took a deep breath as she walked through the valley, still in awe of how...clean it smelled compared to the polluted air in the city. She stuck her hands in her pocket and hummed quietly to herself.

Soon, she spotted Ciera, Red, and a male she had never seen before. She quickly assessed the situation, and decided it might just be okay to go and talk to them. Besides, it looked like they were practicing archery- one of her favorite sports. She smiled in remembrance of that one month of summer camp, where, for once, she was better at something than Jennifer was.

She smiled and walked up to the group. "Hi, you guys."

"you again." *angry look appears on face* (she's still angry from serenity now.)

Arden frowned. "yeah...it's me..." she said slowly, not wanting to make a scene. Her heart twisted painfully. I can't even make friends here.

"i'm sorry but only NICE people are allowed here, so that kinda excludes you." (sorry if this is too mean, i'm just acting as my character would.)

Tears sprung up into Arden's eyes, and she turned her face away, angrily blinking them away. "Fine." Her word came out in a hiss, and she speedily walked away.

*snatches her bow and arrow fighting back tears* "brat, thinks she's SO important and no one else matters!"

"I heard that," Arden said, still within earshot. "How am I the self-concerned one? I listened to every word you said. You didn't even care that I was upset, too. I tried to listen to your problems, and you insulted me and now you're being really mean. You're no better than my sister, and I hate my sister."

"is it my fault my husband dissapeared, i was confused and frightened, and when he came back he said he didn't remember why he left, you have no idea wondering if the one you love still wants you!"

"Yes, I do. My fiance left me for my sister." Arden shook her head, trying to shake off the memory. That was the whole reason she left the city- she couldn't bear the memories. "And it's not your fault your husband was being vauge, but it is your fault for being so mean to me for no reason."

"i'm not the one who plays the "oh so innocent card, every darn day!"

"Listen, Ciera, I don't know what the heck I did to make you so angry. But you're not the kind of friend I want anyways, so go ahead, be mad at me for whatever reason you want to. I don't care." Arden shrugged her shoulders, and realized that she really did mean what she said. She was done with people snapping at her for no reason. She didn't want to walk on eggshells anymore.

*tears roll down face* "figures, no one wants to be my friend, jay doesn't love me anymore, what's the point of living."
